False testimony is a crime under Article 385 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Panama, which states:

“A witness, expert, interpreter, or translator who, before the competent authority, affirms a falsehood or denies or conceals the truth, in whole or in part of their statement, report, interpretation, or translation, shall be punished with imprisonment of two to four years.”
